How do I join the online course?
Joining the online course is simple. If you'd like to see a tutorial
of the steps to join, click here for our
tutorial.
How
am I charged?
Billing is done through EZ
Tokens. Their program allows you to use your tokens as-you-go, so
there is no charge for what you do not use. It is handled through IBill's
secure service. You are NEVER REBILLED, and if you have any problems,
their system allows us to help you out. Your credit card will be billed
as iblls. You can also charge your tokens to your checking account and
your telephone. Your name is never added to any mailing list and never
sold.
Can
I join any other way besides online payment?
Yes, you can mail a check or money order to:
Robert Cabral
26500 Agoura Road #102-346
Calabasas, CA 91302
USA
Each token is $1.00 and the minimum order
is $20.00 (it takes $24.00 for each complete course). Please include
a desired username and password as well as an e-mail
address and I will add you to the system as soon as your payment arrives.

ISSUES / DOWNLOADING |
These Lessons
are rather large files, most over 10 megs. Use a fast connection such
as a cable modem or dsl to download the lessons.
Be sure to download this test file before
continuing. It will assure your computers
ability to download the files and you'll also see if you have Winzip
installed.
Problems with i.e. 6 (submitted by a customer)
I just got Windows XP and am still getting used to it. There is
a setting in IE6 under tools, internet options, privacy that allows
cookies that must be enabled (it is disabled by default)
in order for the ezTokens to work.
(another testimonial) Actually I'm using i.e.6 and I accepted cookies,
but unfortunately I used a download accelerator (DAP) and this most
probably was the reason for the malfunction. Switching it off made the
download happen. (using DAP I only received a small htm-file). Maybe
this case at least can be taken as another proof for your download/technical
tips.
..another tip from a member--I appreciate your patience
on this one. The trick turned out to be Norton Internet Security. If
I turn that off, then it works. Thanks for your assistance. Perhaps
you might want to add this to the list of tricks to be tried in your
help file.
OPERA
browser issues: (submitted by a customer)
Opera is pretty cool, I downloaded the free version at www.opera.com.
It is the free trail (I think 6 mos.) Click Free download version 7.10
The only difference between the full and free version is that the free
version has pop ups and advertising menus.
Opera is a little different in that every time you open it, it will
ask you to decide if you want to use the "last saved session"
or a "new session". I use "saved session" as it
keeps all the preferences instead of dumping them ia a new session.
The new session purges the saved preferences and crashes upon opening
websites. <no image controls>
*Go to set preferences ...
*Go to "file"...then.... "preferences"
*go down the list until "multimedia"...enable show images,
gif ani., embed audio, java, plug ins, javascript.
*go down the list to "default application" check all boxes
to enable them
*go down the list to "privacy"....enable cookies
I'm not sure which one of these here actually does the trick
to allow the sites to open, I just enabled the obvious ones. Other than
that I just went to your site and then clicked the download sample and
that was that. No sweat.
FIREWALL
issues:
If you experience the problem of receiving only a small file, or being
sent to the sign up page after clicking on the link to download the
movie, you may be behind a firewall. You will have to temporarily disable
the firewall to download the videos. For instructions on how to disable
a Norton Firewall, click here
Download
accelerators / "site suckers"?
Please
do not use any utilities such as these to download the lessons, they
will not work. The lesson can only be downloaded in one of two ways:
1. Either by clicking the link that is displayed
after you make your purchase and letting it download to the default
location.
or
2. By right clicking or control-clicking/mac
and "saving target as"... click
here for more info on DAP's
How
do you save the files?
After you enter your username and password, the browser will prompt
you that you are about to download a file. Take note where you copy
the file, it is generally a good idea to copy it to your desktop. Once
the transfer is complete, go to your desktop and double click the zip
file, it will unzip the file and the movie will appear on your desktop.
Double click it and the movie will play.
The
pages aren't showing up?
Simply emptying your browsers cache will solve this problem.
It's generally located under your internet preferences.
To
view the videos--- you'll need any of the following 3 video players
(at least one is installed standard on most computers). You'll be able
to choose which video format you wish to download on each lesson.
1. REAL PLAYER 8 or the new REAL ONE. This is the preferred
player, as it has the best compression and you can watch the movies
full screen with little distortion. You can download it for free from:
www.real.com
2. QUICKTIME- This player comes standard on
all Apple and many Windows computers. You can download the standard
player for free from: www.apple.com/quicktime
3. WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER- this is the standard
player for Windows machines. It comes standard on all Windows computers,
but you can also download it for free from: www.microsoft.com
..and you'll
also need this utilityWINZIP (it may already be installed
on your computer). This is the program that compresses the video so
you can download it to your computer. You can download it for free from
www.winzip.com
Why
zip up the files?
Since you are buying the lessons, the zip file assures that you "download"
the file (instead of just watching it off of this server). You can watch
the lessons over and over for the one price.
